Crocheting for my Craftroom

New house equals new craftroom!!!! Which of course equals me getting to be a bit selfish and doing some crocheting for me! The new house couldn't have come at a better time. I miscarried a few weeks before our closing date, and moving helped a ton with keeping me distracted. I have a few commissions for people I need to get working on, but I've been having a really hard-time wanting to crochet for other people's children right now, knowing mine wasn't meant to be... hence the selfish crocheting.

So far I've finished a huge rug (need ends sewn in before I can post pictures), a chair cover (need to finish the 2nd one), some slippers (pictures and pattern will be posted soon)...

Simple giant granny circle using Vanna's Choice Mustard and Raspberry

And now I'm starting a lapghan! For the lapghan I'm using the same pattern I used for my cousin's new baby blanket last year, but this time each square will be a solid colour. I actually didn't even clue in that it was the same pattern, until I had finished my first square! All I know is it's my favourite motif ever, it's lacy, but not too much, the circle in the center is unique and it's not too girly. All in all, it's pretty perfect, especially for what I'm envisioning this time! I'm using 7 colours from Waverly (Fresh Petals and Rosy Pink), Vanna's Choice (Raspberry and Mustard) and Vanna's Baby (Cheery Cherry, Duckie and Goldfish). And I'm assembling it differently, just connecting the corners and the center of the side, I don't want this blanket to be heavy or solid, just some thing to keep me warm and inspired.

Hopefully in the end, it'll look something like this!
